TOasis Dance Center Company

Being on a competitive dance team demands discipline, dedication, and perseverance. We will be there every step of the way, supporting our students in reaching new heights and achieving their personal goals. Being a part of our company instills confidence, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the art of dance. Above all, it creates unforgettable memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!

What sets us apart from other studios?

  • There is no other studio in the Temecula Valley that has this much experience of dancing in the Industry.

  • Each member of our faculty has participated in a 12 hour BE COURAGEOUS training in which we developed policy, procedures and accountability practices in anti-racism, anti-othering and anti-abuse to build a dance space that is inclusive for all.

  • Through our collaboration with DEEA we are taking visible action to keep dance spaces safe, free of verbal and sexual abuse, and inclusive to all regardless of gender, or race. We offer parents an anonymous tip line, should they have any issues or concern. We attend conventions like Velocity that also follow these standards.

  • We attend more conventions than competitions because they are an excellent way to receive top-notch training in a variety of styles. There is nothing quite like a convention class experience! Learning from the best teachers in the industry, your child’s technique and ability to learn choreography will accelerate, you will literally see the difference after the weekends!

  • Some dancers want to be in lots of groups and others may feel that one group dance is enough. There is no pressure. We assign groups based on the audition, held in the late summer prior to the season. Every student is unique! We look at the information provided on the audition forms, and will meet with each family to determine what is the right fit for your child.

  • Soloists are selected by the Oasis Directors, who, after careful consideration, will determine if a student is ready for this opportunity. Many factors come into play when making this decision. In addition to strong technical ability and stage presence, dancers must demonstrate emotional maturity, mental focus, and the physical stamina required to rehearse and perform at a high level.

Soloists must also be available for consistent, weekly private lessons with their choreographer to ensure they are receiving the guidance and training needed to develop their piece and grow through the process.

To compete as a soloist under Oasis Dance Center, dancers must also participate in at least one group routine. We believe strongly in the value of teamwork and the growth that happens through working as part of an ensemble. This experience builds the foundation that supports success in solo work.

We appreciate your trust in our process and your dancer’s journey. If you have any questions about solos or would like to know what the next steps might look like for your dancer, feel free to reach out!

  • We try to keep the maximum costume fee at $150, this year (due to rising costs) some costumes may end up exceeding that, but we will cap it at $175. We do our best to be mindful of costs when selecting costumes, without sacrificing quality.
